As part of the Federal Workers Alliance (FWA) ‘Digital Campaign to End DoD Furloughs’  the communications committee launched a reprise to our very successful FWA Furlough Message Board. The new message board entitled “How Will Defense Furloughs Impact You? The Economy? National Security?,” is intended to highlight the “big picture” impacts furloughs at the Defense Department will have (i.e. impacts local economies, the mission, military readiness, national security etc.).  The hope is to raise public awareness of the greater overarching impacts DoD furloughs will have in hopes of eliminating the furloughs all together. 

Once again, we are asking the FWA affiliate union members to post their stories.
